Welcome exhibitors and vendors! The 109th Wyoming State Fair encourages your participation in this year’s events. The Fair Board and Staff look forward to hosting you and your exhibits and vendor booths at State Fair Park and welcomes you to Douglas, Wyoming.



CARNIVAL

The Wyoming State Fair is excited to welcome back Carnival Midway Attractions featuring a wide variety of spectacular and kiddie rides, food concessions and games for all ages!

Tickets

The single-day, unlimited ride wristband can be redeemed at the carnival ticket booth on the day of your choosing. Perfect for ride lovers, young and old alike!

Admission prices are reflected below. Tickets will go on sale online July 1st. Tickets will also be available for purchase on site during the Wyoming State Fair event. Carnival ticket information coming soon.

*Grandstand tickets and Admission are required for 3 years and older.

Pioneer Day Information

Pioneer Day is Thursday, Aug. 19;

Persons over the age of 62 enjoy free admission (with proof from your I.D.)!

Armed Forces Day Information

Armed Forces Day is Wednesday, Aug. 18;

Show your military I.D. at the gate and your admission is free for the day!

Other parade information

Can we throw out candy?
Yes, Candy and other items are okay to toss out along the parade route. Please be careful of kids gathering in the street to pick up candy.

How do we know what we need to do as an entrant?
More detailed information will be sent out and provided at the time of check in (or early check in) on when and where to be and who to contact for additional information.

What is the parade start time?

The WSF Parade starts at 10am. Entrants must be checked in and in line prior to 9:45 am (late entries and arrivals will be put at the back of the parade line).

When and where do we line up for the parade?

All WSF parade entrants will be contacted by email to be made aware of line up times and locations. Maps will be distributed at check in for each entrant with detailed information. Early check in times and location of check in areas are listed on the WSF Parade Entry Form.

What is the parade route?

The WSF Parade will begin on 4th and Hamilton Streets, near Loaf N Jug and Antelope Creek Realty. It will travel approximately 1.5 miles north on 4th Street to Center. Then turn and go 2 blocks East on Center Street before ending at South 2nd. All entrants MUST turn South on 2nd Street (parade end). No one will be allowed to cross the railroad tracks or turn North on 2nd.

How do I enter the Ranch Rodeo?

pen to all winning Wyoming teams from Ranch Rodeos held between September  2020 and August 8th, 2021. Entry packets are located in the WSF Office and can be mailed upon request. Call 307-358-2398 for more information!

Does my child meet the requirements for Mutton Bustin’?

Must be ages 5-7, under 65 lbs, and have completed and returned release form to the WSF Office

Can I have golf carts, 4-wheelers, or any other motorized vehicles during fair?

No motorcycles, bicycles, skateboards, or similar items will be allowed with the exception of golf carts and ATV’s.

The use of golf carts and ATV’s will only be allowed with a fee of $220.00 and proof of insurance. Must register at livestock office immediately upon arrival. Only licensed individuals are to be driving the registered golf carts. More information about the livestock office to come.

How do I camp during the Wyoming State Fair?

There are 412, full hookup spots. No reservations are taken, it is on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground will begin taking campers Saturday, Aug. 14 at 9am. 

           Daily Tent Camping (per tent, per day): $20.00

           Daily Camping Fee (per camper space, per day): $50.00

           Season Camping Fee (Aug. 16-21): $200.00

When Can I Sign My Child Up for Mutton Bustin?

Entries open July 1st; forms are located at the Wyoming State Fair Office and can be emailed/scanned to you upon request

No, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Where are the Fairgrounds Located?

  • The Wyoming State Fairgrounds is located off of Yellowstone Hwy, off I-25 exit 140
  • Main gates are 1 (Pepsi Lot on Brownfield) and 4 (Main Lot on Yellowstone)

Pets On Grounds

Pets are allowed in your camper if you are an exhibitor; no pets allowed in public areas; all pets must be on a leash

Is Alcohol Allowed on Grounds?

You are not allowed to bring your own on grounds, but alcohol will be sold in certain areas

Parking

No VIP or paid parking; free parking on a first come first serve basis in the Pepsi Lot and Main Lot.

How Much is the Gate Fee?

Information coming after the board meeting June 8th

Endowment

The Wyoming State Fair Endowment was passed by the Wyoming Legislature in 2018 with the goal of providing a more stable and consistent funding avenue for the future of the Wyoming State Fairgrounds & Event Complex. After more than 100 years of success at the Wyoming State Fair, the WSF Endowment was established to make sure the fair survives and flourishes for the next 100 years.
