ADA
Can I rent a wheelchair?
Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs, walkers, or mobility scooters. At this time, we do not offer on-site wheelchair rentals.
Where is ADA parking located?
Designated ADA parking is located behind the Grandstands. A valid handicap placard or license plate is required.
Are there shuttles available?
Yes! Complimentary on-site shuttles operate throughout the fairgrounds. Check the Shuttle Map for routes and pickup locations.
FFA members also operate the Blue & Gold Taxi, a free golf cart service to assist guests in getting around. Tips are appreciated! To request a ride, please call (307) 358-2398
Is ADA seating available in the Grandstands?
Yes. Accessible seating is available in the front row of the Grandstands with a companion.
Is the carnival accessible?
Carnival rides vary in accessibility, and staff are happy to help however possible. If you would like assistance or need a companion to help navigate the carnival, please contact the carnival operator or a F.A.I.R. Posse member, who will be glad to assist.
Is accessible camping available?
Yes. Accessible RV sites are available for guests with a valid handicap placard. To reserve an accessible site, please call our office at (307) 358-2398.
Do you offer companion passes?
Yes! We offer complimentary companion passes for general grounds admission and Grandstand events. Companion passes for carnival access are handled at the discretion of the carnival operator.
What is the fair’s pet policy?
Service animals are welcome in all public areas of the fairgrounds.
Pets are not allowed in public areas, barns, or on the midway. Exhibitors may have pets at their campers if the following conditions are met:
- Pets must remain leashed and under control at all times.
- Pets must have current health records meeting the State of Wyoming and City of Douglas requirements.
- Pets must stay within the designated campground and rodeo trailer areas.
- No loose or unattended pets are allowed on the grounds.
Campground
What are the camping rates during fair week?
Fairtime camping (August 12–16, 2025):
- Daily RV Site: $40
- Daily Tent Site: $20
What are the non-fairtime camping rates?
With Full Hook-Ups (Water, Sewer, 50 & 30-Amp Power):
- Daily RV Site: $30
- Weekly RV Site: $175
- Monthly RV Site: $600
- A $250 cash deposit is required for monthly stays.
Dry Camping (Tent Camping):
- Daily Tent Site: $20
Is accessible camping available?

Endowment/Foundation
What is the Wyoming State Fair Endowment?
The Wyoming State Fair Endowment is a financial fund established to provide long-term support for the operations, programs, and facilities of the Wyoming State Fair. The endowment is owned by the Wyoming State Fair and invested through a state-advised account managed by the Wyoming State Treasurer. It is designed to generate sustainable income for the fair once the fund reaches a substantial balance. Currently, 75% of the revenues generated by the endowment are reinvested into the corpus to promote growth, while 25% are available for use by the Wyoming State Fair to support its operations.
How do I make a donation to the Wyoming State Fair Endowment?
Contributing to the Wyoming State Fair Endowment is a meaningful way to support the fair’s long-term sustainability and its role in promoting agriculture, youth development, and Wyoming’s Western heritage. Established by the Wyoming Legislature in 2018, the Endowment provides a stable funding source for the Wyoming State Fairgrounds & Event Complex, with 25% of investment earnings supporting operations and 75% reinvested to ensure future growth.

Exhibitor
Where should 4-H and FFA exhibitors enter the fairgrounds?
All 4-H and FFA exhibitors should enter through Gate 1.
Where can I purchase parking, livestock, and golf cart passes?
All passes are available for purchase on-site only at the Exhibitor Office, located near the beef barn.
Exhibitor Office Hours:
- 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM: FFA Advisors and 4-H Educators only
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Open to the general public
General
Where is the Wyoming State Fairgrounds & Event Complex located?
You’ll find us just off I-25 at Exit 140, along Yellowstone Highway in Douglas, Wyoming.
What can I bring into the fairgrounds?
Outside alcohol is prohibited (except in the campground). Alcohol is available for purchase on-site. Other items are allowed but are subject to search at the gate.

Lost & Found is located at the Security Office on the west end of the Midway.

When is Military Appreciation Day?
Thursday, August 14, 2025 Show your military ID at the gate for free admission all day.

Parade
Where can I sign up for the parade?
The Wyoming State Fair Parade is hosted by The Enterprise. The application will be available on their website https://www.seewhatconversecando.com/forms-applications/.
What time does the parade start?
The Wyoming State Fair Parade kicks off at 10:00 AM.
- All participants must be checked in and lined up by 9:45 AM.
- Late arrivals will be placed at the end of the lineup.

Rodeo
Where do I enter the grounds?
Rodeo contestants should enter via Gate 2 on Cowboy Drive, off Brownfield Road. Please present your PRCA membership card to security upon arrival.
Where can I park?
Contestant parking is available near the Ford Grandstands Arena, with additional parking around the Pepsi Equine Center.
What health documentation do I need for my horse?
- Out-of-state horses: Must have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection and a negative EIA (Coggins) test within the last 12 months.
- In-state horses: Must have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.
Are stalls available?
Yes, complimentary horse stalls are available on a first-come, first-served basis for rodeo contestants.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination certificate issued within the past 12 months. Dogs must remain confined to your vehicle or trailer area at all times.
How do I enter Mutton Bustin’?
Entries open July 1 and are first-come, first-served. Only 30 participants will be accepted, with a 5-person waitlist once spots are filled.
Both the entry form and release form must be submitted by August 2 or the spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.
Participant Requirements:
- Ages 5–7 years old
- Weigh under 65 pounds

What are the VIP Tent hours?
The VIP Tent is open nightly from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, August 12–16, 2025.
Can my children accompany me in the VIP Tent?
Yes, children may enter the VIP Tent if accompanied by an adult with Sponsor Credentials.
However:
- Children over age 12 must have their own Sponsor or Brand Club Pass to access the fairgrounds, grandstand events, and VIP Tent.
- All children must have a paid admission to enter the fair and any ticketed events.
What’s available in the VIP Area?
The VIP Area includes:
- Complimentary soft drinks and bottled water
- Nightly catering
- A full cash bar with additional beverage options
Who is allowed in the VIP Tent?
Access is exclusively for individuals with Sponsor credentials, including Top 5 and Brand Club members. Credentials must be presented at the entrance for entry.
What is sponsorship?
Sponsorship is a partnership between the Wyoming State Fair and an individual, organization, or business that provides support in exchange for marketing and promotional opportunities throughout the fairgrounds.
What is donorship?
Donorship is a philanthropic contribution that supports our static and livestock award programs. These donations honor the hard work and achievements of our exhibitors each year.

Where can I park?

Can I use my ATV on the fairgrounds?
No. ATVs are not permitted on the grounds. Only golf carts with a valid pass and proof of insurance are allowed. All golf carts must be operated by a licensed driver.
Golf Cart Passes: Passes are available for purchase at the Exhibitor Office, located near the south end of the Ford Pavilion (Beef Barn).
Where can I rent a golf cart?
The Wyoming State Fair does not rent golf carts directly. To inquire about golf cart rentals contact Hannahs Golf Cars.
