At the Wyoming State Fair, we’re proud to champion agriculture by showcasing the dedication, talent, and hard work of livestock exhibitors from across the state. Market Animal Drug Testing
In 2026, the Wyoming State Fair will continue mandatory drug testing for Youth Market Beef, Goat, Lamb, and Swine exhibits. Drug testing will be conducted for the top five placing exhibitors in each market species, as well as additional randomly selected entries.
We value education, animal welfare, protecting the food chain, and fostering fair competition at the Wyoming State Fair. Drug testing is a valuable tool to help exhibitors and families to understand the possible implications of using substances on their animal.
