Wyoming State Fair Celebrates 120 Years with Action-Packed Lineup and a Patriotic Kickoff to America’s 250th
Douglas, WY – This year, the Wyoming State Fair returns August 12-16 with more pride, purpose, and patriotism than ever before. As the fair celebrates its 120th year of tradition, community, and Western heritage, it also proudly kicks off the national countdown to America’s 250th birthday in 2026, joining the Great American Fair initiative honoring the roles fairs have played in shaping our nation’s history.
Held in Douglas, Wyoming since 1905, the fair continues to unite generations with a one-of-a-kind blend of agriculture, education, youth programming, entertainment, and old-fashioned fun. This year invites fairgoers to experience five full days of celebration that spotlight the best of Wyoming and the spirit of the United States.

- Wednesday, Aug. 13 – PRCA Rodeo (Tough Enough to Wear Pink) | World Champion Mutton Bustin’ Pre-show at 6:00 PM, Rodeo at 7:00 PM
- Thursday, Aug 14 – PRCA Rodeo | Stars N’ Spurs Military Appreciation Pre-show 6:30 PM, Rodeo 7:00 PM
- Friday, Aug. 15 – WSF Foundation Fundraising Concert | Micky & the Motorcars with Tris Munsick & the Innocents 7:00 PM

Fair Favorites & New Additions
Introduced in 2024, Fair Food Flights are the Wyoming State Fair’s take on the popular beer flight, letting you sample smaller portions of featured menu items from 9 participating vendors. Try as many or as few as you’d like, but you can complete the entire “flight” for under $50!
Check out the full menu posted in the WSF Food Court during fair week, visit each vendor, order their Fair Food Flights item, and vote for your favorite in the People’s Choice Award. It’s the tastiest way to tour the fair!
NEW THIS YEAR: $5 Friday! – Come to the fairgrounds before 1:00 PM on Friday, August 15, and get in for just $5. Enjoy lunch, head back to work, and return for the concert that evening.
NEW! Shuttle from Casper – The Wyoming State Fair Foundation has partnered with Dakota Bussing to provide a chartered shuttle from Hat Six Travel Center in Casper to the fair. For just $10, out-of-town visitors can enjoy a safe, affordable ride, especially helpful with Douglas hotel rooms filling up fast.
Celebrate America – As Wyoming’s official America 250 Patriotic Center, proclaimed by Governor Mark Gordon, the 2025 fair features a series of spirited contests, including:
