Winter arena are available at the Ford Pavilion and will also be available for purchase. Punch Cards are valid Dec 1st\, 2022 – April 14th\, 2023. Punch cards do not transfer between arenas. Unused punches will expire April 14th\, 2023. Call the WSF office at 307-358-2398 to purchase and book arena time.

SUMMARY:Military Appreciation Day
DESCRIPTION:The Wyoming State Fair will be hosting Military Appreciation Day on Wednesday\, August 17th. The festivities are presented by Wyoming Rural Electric Cooperatives and the Wyoming Military Department. In gratitude for everything the members of the Military have done for our country\, communities\, and families\, the Wyoming State Fair hosts the annual appreciation day in celebration. The Wyoming Rural Electric Cooperatives will be distributing 75 complementary rodeo tickets to military members and veterans at their booth on the midway. \nThe PRCA Rodeo will feature a Mounted Color Guard ceremony\, military branch songs played by local high school bands\, the National Anthem\, and an invocation. \nWith banners hung high to signify Military Appreciation Day\, fair goers can also expect various military equipment on display\, ROTC youth handing out flags\, and other festivities to celebrate our members of the military. \n“To me Military Appreciation Day at the Wyoming State Fair is a day to acknowledge\, honor and remember the sacrifices that have been made by our past and present military personnel to keep us safe and our country free.”\, states Becky Condie\, Member Services Coordinator of the Wheatland Rural Electric Association. SUMMARY:2022 Cowboy Cornhole Tournament
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the Cowboy Cornhole Tournament during the Wyoming State Fair was so successful in 2021 we are bringing it back again in 2022! This fundraiser will provide a great activity during the state fair while supporting two great organizations. \nThe Cowboy Cornhole Tournament will be held Tuesday\, August 16 on the State Fair Grounds. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams. We’ve added a youth round this year where 4-H clubs\, FFA chapters\, and other youth organizations have the opportunity to enter teams. Winners of the youth round will receive individual prizes along with a cash donation to their club/chapter/team!\nThe Wyoming FFA Foundation works to maximize the opportunities available to the state’s 3\,000 plus FFA members and 55 chapters. Our efforts are aimed at ensuring the FFA program’s ability to continue making a positive difference in students’ lives by developing their potential for premier leadership\, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Scholarships\, funds for chapter enhancement and educational opportunities and awards for outstanding FFA members are just a few of the areas where we focus our efforts. \nThe Wyoming Natural Resource Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization which implements natural resource conservation programs. Programs include the Pathway to Water Quality and Living Legacy programs on the Wyoming State Fairgrounds\, forest health projects\, wildlife habitat enhancement\, a scholarship program and more. \nAs you know\, behind every successful event are the important contributions from businesses\, friends and supporters.
